และขึ้นข้อความดังต่อไปนี้

       vibs = VMware xxxx

วิธีแก้ไข ให้ทำการรันคำสั่งเพิ่มขนาดของ swap ดังนี้

# Host swap - DS1 = Datastore Name
esxcli sched swap system set -n ds1 -d y
esxcli sched swap system get

# Example
[root@localhost:~] esxcli sched swap system get
   Datastore Active: false
   Datastore Enabled: false
   Datastore Name:
   Datastore Order: 0
   Hostcache Active: false
   Hostcache Enabled: true
   Hostcache Order: 1
   Hostlocalswap Active: false
   Hostlocalswap Enabled: true
   Hostlocalswap Order: 2

[root@localhost:~] esxcli sched swap system set -n datastore1 -d y

[root@localhost:~] esxcli sched swap system get
   Datastore Active: true
   Datastore Enabled: true
   Datastore Name: datastore1
   Datastore Order: 0
   Hostcache Active: false
   Hostcache Enabled: true
   Hostcache Order: 1
   Hostlocalswap Active: false
   Hostlocalswap Enabled: true
   Hostlocalswap Order: 2

จากนั้น ลองรันอัพเดตอีกครั้งนะครับ

  1. Power off VM ก่อน
  2. ไปที่ ที่อยู่ของ VM และเปิดไฟล์ ชื่อ.vmx
  3. ใส่ค่านี้เพิ่มลงไป
mainMem.ioBlockPages = "2048" 
mainMem.iowait = "0"

หลังจากนั้น Power on VM ตามปกติ และลอง Snapshot ดูใหม่อีกครั้งครับ

หมายเหตุ: แนะนำให้ลบ Snapshot อันเดิมออกก่อน เพราะว่าถ้าเราแก้ไขไฟล์ .vmx ไปแล้ว หากเราเปิดใช้งานตามปกติ และกด Restore Snapshot กลับไป ค่าที่เราเพิ่มขึ้นมาหลังจาก Snapshot เดิมก็จะหายไปด้วยนะครับ

    2. Login to vCenter Server via SSH
    3. Ehter shell command
    4. cd /var/log/vmware/vdcs
    5. mkdir clspid
    6. mv vmware-vdcs.pid clspid 
    7. Try to start again: service-control –start –all

    เมื่อได้ค่า Word ID แล้ว ให้ทำการ Force VM Process ทิ้งทั้งหมด

    esxcli vm process kill --type= [soft,hard,force] --world-id= WorldNumber

    ในที่นี้จะแนะนำให้ใช้ force นะครับ
